Reporting to the QA Manager, you will help ensure that incoming materials, electronic components, PCB assemblies and production items meet the required quality, accuracy and traceability standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nInspect incoming goods, materials and components against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders and quality requirements\nCarry out visual, dimensional, stage and final inspections on electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies and piece parts\nUse mechanical and electronic inspection equipment, including verniers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools\nVerify certification, paperwork and traceability documentation for incoming products\nIdentify, record and report non-conforming materials in line with quality procedures\nWork with Stores, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and support corrective actions\nMaintain accurate inspection records and update internal systems while supporting stock control and stores activities where required\nContribute to continuous improvement activities and ensure compliance with quality, health and safety and customer requirements\nJob Requirements:\nPrevious experience in goods-in inspection and production inspection within a manufacturing environment\nExperience in electronics manufacturing, defence or electronic engineering environments\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and technical documentation relating to electronic assemblies and PCB assemblies\nPractical experience using inspection equipment and mechanical measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers and gauges\nStrong understanding of quality standards, inspection processes and product traceability\nStrong attention to detail, with a methodical and accurate approach to work\nGood communication, IT and problem-solving skills, including experience maintaining accurate records\nIPC-A-610 or IPC/WHMA-A-620 training would be advantageous, alongside a proactive attitude and willingness to learn\nSecurity Requirements:\nThis role requires sole UK nationality and possession of a British passport only.
