The organisation specialises in fully integrated fuel systems for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft and is relocating to a state-of-the-art facility at Daedalus, which will become a Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing in Europe.\nWorking within a team of Quality Engineers, the successful applicant will support quality management, continuous improvement, product and process auditing, regulatory compliance and customer-focused quality activities across the business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and apply Quality Engineering tools, including SPC, Gauge R&R, FMEA, Six Sigma, attribute charts and control plans\nSupport continuous quality improvement initiatives and wider business objectives\nConduct weekly and monthly Management Quality Reviews, including the preparation and presentation of key performance indicators\nInvestigate quality issues through to resolution, working with internal teams, customers and external bodies where required\nManage or participate in product recalls in accordance with CAA, regulatory and customer requirements\nParticipate in Design Reviews, New Product Introduction activities, PFMEA and 8D investigations\nCompile and maintain quality documentation, self-certification programmes and certifying staff training\nComplete Business System Audits and Product Audits in line with the planned audit schedule\nSupport the maintenance and progression of company approvals, including BS EN ISO 9001, EASA Part 21, AS EN 9001 and customer-specific approvals\nJob Requirements:\nExperience in a Quality Engineering role within an engineering or manufacturing environment\nEngineering degree, HNC or equivalent relevant experience\nUnderstanding of aerospace engineering standards and regulatory requirements, including EASA and AS9100\nPractical experience with quality tools such as SPC, Gauge R&R, FMEA, Six Sigma, control plans and attribute charts\nExperience contributing to PFMEA, 8D problem-solving and continuous improvement activities\nAudit training, ideally to Lead Auditor level\nStrong IT skills, including practical experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and other business systems\nExcellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills\nBenefits:\nPermanent opportunity within a growing aerospace manufacturing business\nOpportunity to contribute to challenging projects within a collaborative engineering team\nProfessional development through dedicated learning and training programmes\nGenuine opportunities for internal progression and career development\nExposure to advanced aerospace fuel systems, quality management and regulatory compliance\nStrong focus on reliability, safety, efficiency, sustainability and employee wellbeing\nAdditional Information:\nThe successful applicant may work with US ITAR-controlled technology, goods and information.
