This contract role is offered on a hybrid basis, with approximately 50% onsite working, and is initially scheduled to run until March 2027 with a strong possibility of extension.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate technical activities across software engineering teams and key stakeholders\nMonitor project delivery, technical risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies\nSupport the development and management of project plans, technical roadmaps and delivery milestones\nProvide technical leadership and first-level technical decision-making\nAct as the primary escalation point for engineering issues\nManage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers and internal teams\nSupport project reporting, forecasting, performance monitoring and resource planning\nFacilitate technical reviews, milestone assessments and configuration management activities\nGovernance and Delivery:\nEnsure project deliverables meet agreed scope, schedule and quality criteria\nPromote compliance with engineering governance, processes and standards\nCommunicate project status, risks and mitigation plans to stakeholders\nSupport workload prioritisation, capacity management and effort estimation\nCollaborate with architects, engineers and delivery teams to maintain technical alignment\nJob Requirements:\nActive SC Clearance\nSignificant experience in software, systems or platform engineering projects\nStrong knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices\nExperience in software engineering, systems development and software delivery environments\nTechnical leadership and stakeholder management experience\nStrong risk, issue and dependency management skills\nExcellent communication, planning and problem-solving abilities\nA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline\nDesirable Skills:\nMicrosoft Azure DevOps certification\nExperience within the aerospace, defence, automotive or another regulated industry\nFamiliarity with model-based development environments\nExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams\nInterested?
