Location: Reading (hybrid) Duration: 6 month initial contract Rate: £72.80ph UMB (Inside IR35) Active SC clearance required Role details: Our client, a leading organisation within the defence and security sector, is seeking a Scrum Master to support agile delivery across digital and data teams. Based in Reading with hybrid working, this contract role will help enable high-performing teams, improve delivery flow and support the development of robust digital capabilities for strategic defence programmes. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives Promote adherence to agile values, principles and delivery frameworks Support backlog refinement by encouraging clarity, prioritisation and alignment with business value Ensure sprint scope, dependencies and team capacity are clearly understood Identify and remove delivery impediments while protecting the team from external disruption Champion continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives and measurable process enhancements Coach delivery teams and stakeholders in agile ways of working Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary digital and data
