Security | Government & Enterprise Programmes\nWe are seeking an experienced Security Architect to support the delivery of complex cloud security initiatives across enterprise and government-focused environments. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with a strong background in Cloud Security Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure Security, and Cloud Security Assessments to play a key role in securing cloud platforms, driving security best practice, and supporting large-scale transformation programmes. \nThe successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, solution architects, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure security is embedded throughout the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-based solutions.\nThe Role\nAs a Security Architect, you will be responsible for providing security leadership across cloud projects, ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented in line with security requirements, industry standards, and organisational policies. \nYou will assess risks, develop security architectures, conduct security reviews, and provide expert guidance on securing cloud infrastructure and services across complex environments. \nThis position is primarily remote, although candidates must be willing to travel to client sites when required.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop secure cloud architectures aligned with business and security requirements.\nProvide technical leadership on cloud security initiatives and transformation programmes.\nConduct cloud security assessments and risk reviews across cloud environments.\nDefine and maintain cloud security standards, patterns, and reference architectures.\nSupport the secure design and implementation of cloud infrastructure and services.\nReview solution designs and provide security recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with architects, engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met.\nIdentify security risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps, providing mitigation recommendations.\nSupport governance, risk, compliance, and assurance activities.\nContribute to security roadmaps and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProvide guidance on cloud security monitoring, threat management, and incident response capabilities.\nSupport managed cloud security service engagements where required.\nEssential Skills & Experience\nProven experience working as a Security Architect within complex enterprise or government environments.\nStrong expertise in:Cloud Security Planning\nCloud Infrastructure Security\nCloud Security Architecture\nCloud Security Assessments\nManaged Cloud Security Services\n\nExperience designing secure cloud solutions within AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud environments.\nDeep understanding of security architecture principles, frameworks, and best practices.\nExperience conducting security reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments.\nStrong knowledge of identity and access management, network security, encryption, and security monitoring.\nExperience integrating security into cloud transformation and migration programmes.\nAbility to communicate security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExcellent stakeholder management and consultancy skills.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience within public sector, government, defence, or highly regulated environments.\nKnowledge of Zero Trust security principles.\nExperience with cloud-native security tooling and security automation.\nFamiliarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or similar security frameworks.\nExperience supporting DevSecOps and secure software delivery practices.\nRelevant cloud and security certifications such as:CISSP\nCCSP\nAWS Security Specialty\nAzure Security Engineer\nTOGAF\n\nKey Competencies\nCloud Security Architecture\nSecurity Risk Assessment\nCloud Infrastructure
