The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of high-performance antennas and RF solutions deployed in demanding real-world environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop and optimise antenna solutions for airborne, maritime and land-based applications.\nPerform electromagnetic modelling and simulation using industry-standard tools.\nDevelop antenna architectures to meet challenging performance, size, weight and environmental requirements.\nConduct antenna measurements and validation activities, including anechoic chamber testing.\nSupport RF system integration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.\nAnalyse and interpret test data, producing technical reports and recommendations.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary teams including RF, electronics, mechanical, systems and software engineers.\nSupport product development through concept, prototyping, verification and production phases.\nContribute to design reviews, technical presentations and customer discussions.\nEnsure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and qualification requirements.\nRequired Experience\nDegree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.\nExperience in antenna design and development within a commercial, aerospace, defence or communications environment.\nStrong understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF principles.\nExperience using antenna simulation and modelling tools such as CST Studio Suite, HFSS, FEKO or similar.\nKnowledge of antenna measurement techniques and RF test equipment.\nUnderstanding of impedance matching, radiation patterns, gain, efficiency and polarisation.\nExperience analysing RF performance and troubleshooting technical issues.\nAbility to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nDesirable Experience\nExperience with SATCOM, telemetry, datalinks, GNSS, electronic warfare or radar systems.\nKnowledge of airborne or unmanned systems applications.\nExperience working within highly regulated engineering environments.\nFamiliarity with environmental qualification standards and testing.\nUnderstanding of RF front-end design and system-level integration.\nExperience supporting products from prototype through to manufacture.\nPersonal
