In this role you will support the International Submarine Program Manager to manage activities, delivery projects and provide technical knowledge within the scope of their program. This role includes recurring long-term deployments (at least 6 months at a time) at one of our overseas client sites, providing technical leadership and oversight to a team of experienced engineers and technologists. Deployments may include the summer and Christmas school holidays.\nResponsibilities and Tasks include:\nProgram delivery\n* Develop work schedules.\n* Identify technical and program risks.\n* Participate in multi-disciplinary project teams in support of client taskings. Client engagement and communication\n* Review, prepare, and provide briefs at all levels (internal to the company and to the client).\n* Deliver presentations to stakeholders.\n* Proactively interact with clients, develop a thorough understanding of their needs, and work to exceed expectations.\nTechnical assurance and quality\n* Provide engineering design and construction advice and consultancy.\n* Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with the project statement of work and checked in accordance with the relevant project and/or company\nQuality Procedure.\n* Utilize knowledge of domain-specific standards.\n* Provide Technical Assurance (TA) of deliverables or provide guidance and advice to others completing TA activities.\nTeam leadership\n* Contribute to the objectives and direction of the International Submarine program, and positively and actively support management decisions.\n* Share information freely and mutually support other staff to optimize the overall success in Canada. Contribute to a culture of operational and technical excellence.\n* Motivate staff and create an environment where they can ask questions and voice concerns.\nWhile not on deployment you will be required to execute work in support of other client taskings.\nAuthority, Accountability and Working Relationships:\nThe role is responsible and accountable to:\n1. Capability Manager or delegate for utilization and career development,\n2. Project Manager for assigned projects.\nRequired to forge effective working relationships with:\n1. Clients,\n2. Project Managers,\n3.
