This electrical-focused role will provide technical leadership for instrumentation, control and automation (ICA), systems integration, commissioning and technical governance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the development, review and implementation of ICA and systems integration delivery strategies\nManage systems integrator performance, procurement activities, resources and supply chain relationships\nReview ICA design deliverables, including P&IDs, process control philosophies, URS, FDS, telemetry schedules and control system architectures\nOversee SCADA, telemetry, Profibus, Fieldbus and fibre optic integration requirements\nPlan and manage systems integration surveys, commissioning, factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing\nEnsure project programmes, inspection and test plans, risk assessments and method statements include all relevant integration activities\nSupport change management, commercial assessments, defect management and progress reporting\nMaintain effective relationships with clients, electrical engineers, design teams, commissioning managers, subcontractors and suppliers\nJob Requirements:\nSignificant experience in systems integration, commissioning or a systems engineering management role within the water, utilities or infrastructure sector\nRelevant engineering qualification, such as a BEng, HNC or HND, with strong electrical knowledge\nUnderstanding of instrumentation, control and automation systems, including MCCs, LCPs, SCADA and telemetry\nExperience of Profibus, Fieldbus and fibre optic system design\nKnowledge of cyber security protocols and project compliance requirements\nExperience reviewing technical submissions, standard designs, control system risk assessments and governance documentation\nUnderstanding of surveying, interrogation, troubleshooting and commissioning activities\nCSCS certification, strong communication skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and work collaboratively\nAdditional Information:\nThe role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex water infrastructure projects while supporting the development of systems integration capability, technical standards and efficient delivery methods.
