Flexibility is required as you will be required to work a range of shifts Monday to Saturday plus participate in the on-call roster.\nSalary range: $37.93 - $39.04 per hourplus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits!\nWhat you’ll be doing\nYou will support the theatre and CSSD team in activities that ensure the provision of a safe and efficient sterilising service. You will also participate in hospital quality management systems in the unit to ensure a continuous improvement focus. Your enthusiasm and skills will see you seamlessly integrate into this outstanding team, assisting to provide an exceptional level of care and to hit-the-ground-running.\nDecontamination & Assembly: Manual and automated cleaning, inspection, and packing of surgical trays and specialised equipment’s\nSystem Tracking: Accurate documentation and data entry using electronic tracking systems (T-Doc) to manage the instrument lifecycle\nSterilization: Operating autoclaves and monitoring sterilization cycles in line with Best Practice\nSpecialised Processing: Handling loan set processing and endoscope reprocessing (desirable)\nQuality & Safety: Engaging with Risk Management, Continuous Quality Improvement, and WHS systems\nAbout you\nMinimum of Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or commitment to attain\nAdhere to sterilisation practices in accordance with current Australian Sterilisation Standard 4187\nMembership with the Sterilising Research and Advisory Council of Australia (Queensland) Inc.
