Your key duties will include but will not be limited to:\nLeading cash, debt facility and investment management activities\nCompleting month-end treasury accounting, reconciliations and reporting activities\nDeveloping and maintaining banking, lending and investment relationships\nMonitoring treasury risks and ensuring compliance with banking and funding obligations\nMaintaining and enhancing treasury governance, controls and compliance frameworks\nEnsuring compliance with funding obligations and supporting effective balance sheet management\nPreparing short and long-term cash flow forecasts and providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making\nManaging daily liquidity and cash positioning\nMonitoring and administering bank guarantees\nMonitoring banking fees and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation \nAbout you\nThe successful applicant will have a relevant qualification in Economics, Business, Accounting, or Commerce and Professional Accounting Qualification (CA/CPA).\nApproximately 3+ years' experience in treasury, financial accounting, or a related discipline\nStrong understanding of finance month-end close process\nHealth-specific or large/complex sector background preferred\nHighly developed technical accounting skills\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, TM1 or other large ERP and reporting platforms is highly regarded\nExperience developing and maintaining 3-way financial models and cash flow forecasts preferred\nAbility to prioritise multiple projects, meet deadlines and anticipate/solve problems\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDetail-oriented with strong analytical skills\nAbility to work with diverse teams and support a culture of continuous improvement\nAbility to communicate financial information to non-financial audiences\nWhy join us?\nMater is Queensland’s largest not-for-profit network of public and private hospitals and healthcare services, bringing together world-class expertise across healthcare, education, fundraising & philanthropy and research.
