Python Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Python.
• Build scalable and maintainable backend services and applications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues and implement effective solutions.
• Develop unit tests and integration tests to ensure application quality.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, designers, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
• Use Git-based version control systems for source code management.
• Contribute to application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with modern Python libraries, frameworks, tools, and development practices.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates with strong Python development skills and relevant project experience may also be considered.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API integration.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development concepts.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Exposure to Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming using asyncio.
• Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as PyTest or unittest.
• Basic understanding of application security and performance optimization.
