Through the knowledge and dedication of these teams, we’re creating value every day and building the foundation for long-term success.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end invoice lifecycle for assigned legal entities by ensuring accurate and timely creation of customer invoices and credit notes in compliance with contractual agreements, customer requirements, company policies, and applicable tax regulations.\nValidate billing information, customer master data, tax treatment, payment terms, supporting documentation, and invoicing requirements before invoice issuance, ensuring high accuracy and compliance.\nProcess invoices and credit notes through customer invoicing platforms and e-invoicing networks, monitor submission status, investigate rejected documents, identify root causes, and drive issues to successful resolution.\nHandle complex and non-standard invoicing scenarios by analysing available information, assessing business risks, making informed decisions, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to determine the most appropriate solution.\nServe as a subject matter expert for assigned legal entities and invoicing processes, providing guidance and support to junior team members and sharing best practices within the team.\nBuild effective partnerships with Sales, Finance, Master Data, IT, and external customers to resolve invoicing issues, clarify requirements, and ensure efficient end-to-end process execution.\nPerform and coordinate month-end closing activities by ensuring invoices and credit notes are processed accurately and within the agreed deadlines.\nIdentify process inefficiencies, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities, proactively proposing and supporting process enhancements, automation initiatives, and system improvements.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n>2 years of experience in Sales Invoicing, Billing, Order-to-Cash, Accounts Receivable Operations, or a similar finance operations role within a multinational company or Shared Service Centre.\nExperience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, Oracle, or similar is an advantage.\nExperience with e-invoicing platforms, customer portals, or electronic document exchange solutions is highly desirable.\nGood understanding of VAT/tax principles, invoicing compliance, and financial controls.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nAbility to prioritize workload, manage competing deadlines, and perform effectively during month-end closing.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience supporting process improvements, system implementations, or automation initiatives is considered an advantage.\nWhat’s waiting for you\nWork that matters \nThe technology we build at Materialise pushes the boundaries.
