Join us!\nMaterion is seeking an IT Support / OT Engineer to support and deliver solutions across manufacturing shop-floor (OT) and enterprise (IT) environments.\nBased in Delta, Utah, this role shares time between engineering and operational support, working hands-on with industrial systems, IT infrastructure, and endpoints. The ideal candidate brings strong IT fundamentals and OT/IoT experience, is eager to learn, and thrives in a manufacturing location with high ownership and collaboration.\nAbout the Role\nYou will partner with Infrastructure, Engineering, Maintenance, and Service Desk teams to build reliable, secure, and supportable OT/IT solutions. Expect a mix of planned project work (requirements, build/test, documentation) and support (incident response, troubleshooting, change execution). Occasional after-hours work for maintenance windows and participation in an on-call rotation are expected.\nEngineering\nLead design, implementation, support of OT systems (SCADA/HMI, data acquisition, OPC-UA/MQTT gateways), PLC network connectivity, and segmentation aligned to security standards. Contribute to reliability, data collection, and visibility across manufacturing cells.\nContinually improve OT systems reliability, performance, and functionality at your assigned sites.\nOnsite Technical Support\nSupport Windows/Linux endpoints and servers, Active Directory/Azure AD, IAM/MFA, patching, backup/restore, and basic virtualization.\nPerform hands-on troubleshooting and support of IT/OT hardware.\nInterface with your peers and support/coach them on technical support needs.\nCollaborate with your peers and peer support teams live and via ticketing.\nIncident/Operations Support\nCollaborate with IT/OT engineering teams to support systems and ensure the reliable integration of OT and IT networks.\nRespond to incidents and service requests, triage and resolve issues, escalate when needed, and maintain detailed ticket documentation.\nParticipate in knowledge base upkeep, change management, and on-call rotation.\nContribute to root cause analysis and support incident response for system failures.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent military, apprenticeship, or industry experience considered.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience with a combination of IT and OT engineering and project execution.\nStrong project support and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.\nDemonstrated experience in IT troubleshooting and support, including:Windows workstations/servers (Linux is a bonus)\nNetworking (TCP-IP, DHCP, DNS, Firewalls)\nBackup/Restore Data\nVirtualization and Cloud technologies exposure/experience preferred\n\nExperience working with industrial or manufacturing technologies such as:SCADA/MES\nSensors, Gateways\nMQTT, OPC\n\nHP\n#LI-HS1\nMaterion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
