If you’ve got the desire to learn and grow, you'll love it here.\nAs a Machine Operator, you are responsible for operating various machines in the production areas while adhering to safety requirements, quality parameters and in-process checks.\nYou will have the opportunity to:\nFollow detailed parts instructionsand ensure that processing requirements in those documents are completed\n\nRecord process data as required by standard operating procedures\n\nTroubleshoot minor problems with the equipment\n\nInspect parts both visually and dimensionally, use proper measuring equipment\n\nInterpret visual specifications to recognize and classify defective material\n\nPerform testing and inspection of materials and/or parts throughout the processing sequence\n\nRequirements:\nMust be flexible to work both afternoon & overnight shifts\n\nMust be flexible to work either 8, 10, or 12 hours shifts plus weekends/overtime as needed\n\nHigh School Diploma /GED\n\n1-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment operating equipment\n\nAbility to use measuring devices, such as micrometers and gauges\n\nMechanical interest and aptitude\n\nEssential Tasks:\nThis position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment\n\nThis position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs. and can maneuver large, cumbersome equipment\n\nRequired to do data entry and operate a computer at times\n\nRequired to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, grip or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms\n\nRegularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch at times\n\nAbility to push/pull up to 130 pounds of force\n\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus when reading\n\nAbility to work in environments with hot temperature conditions\n\nAbility to operate manufacturing equipment such as forklifts on occasion\n\nHP\nThe selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).\nThe candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
