Join us!\nAs a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible and accountable for safely installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the facility, its machinery and equipment by using a variety of materials and techniques to make alterations, installations, and repairs.\nYou will have the opportunity to:\nApproach all maintenance tasks with safety as the number one priority.\n\nPerform general maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles and their mechanical, electrical and fluid power systems.\n\nRecognize operational irregularities of equipment or processes, accurately determines the cause and takes appropriate corrective actions.\n\nKeep building structure and systems (lighting, water, HVAC, air make-up units, baghouses, sanitary) in good operational condition by repairing or replacing electrical switches, fixtures, motors, and plumbing fixtures.\n\nWeld and fabricate metals (sheet, tube, plate, etc.).\n\nMove, lift, and rig of equipment and the plant’s products.\n\nBe responsible for troubleshooting and minor repair of electric induction melting furnace components.\n\nWork from a variety of sketches, manuals, drawings, blueprints and procedures, when available, and recommends building, equipment, or machinery alterations to Maintenance Manager.\n\nRespond to plant emergencies such as power outages and equipment failure and takes appropriate action to ensure minimal production downtime.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and wears required personal protection equipment.\n\nShare on-call responsibilities to support off-shift and weekend maintenance needs at the plant.\n\nComplete other duties as assigned.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nMust have completed five years of industrial mechanical and electrical work or, an approved four year apprentice program along with two years of industrial maintenance experience.\n\nPreferred candidates will have at least one (1) year of verifiable welding and fabrication experience.\n\nProven experience to independently analyze mechanical and electrical problems and implement solutions.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.; bend, crawl, work in close quarters, and climb stairs frequently; and work on feet most of work day.\n\nGood interpersonal skills and positive team player attitude.\n\nGood verbal and written communications skills.\n\nBasic computer skills including common Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.\n\nHP\nMaterion Corporation and its subsidiaries (the “Company”) is an equal employment opportunity employer.
