The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights that support commercial decision-making, including sales, marketing, market access, and customer engagement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop predictive and descriptive analytical models to support commercial business objectives. \nAnalyze large-scale healthcare, pharmaceutical, sales, claims, prescription (Rx), patient, and market data to uncover business insights. \nBuild machine learning and statistical models for customer segmentation, targeting, forecasting, next best action, and campaign effectiveness. \nDesign and implement data pipelines, feature engineering, and model validation processes. \nCollaborate with commercial stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions. \nCreate dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively using BI tools. \nMonitor model performance and recommend improvements based on business feedback. \nWork with cross-functional teams including data engineering, business consulting, and commercial excellence teams. \nEnsure data quality, documentation, and adherence to data governance standards. \nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's or master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. \n 2-4 years of experience in Data Science with a focus on Pharma or Life Sciences Commercial Analytics. \nStrong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial processes, including sales analytics, marketing analytics, customer analytics, and market performance measurement. \nHands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. \nProficiency in Python or R for data analysis and model development. \nStrong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. \nExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred. \nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and version control tools such as Git is an advantage. \nTechnical Skills:\nPython (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) \nSQL \nR (preferred) \nMachine Learning \nStatistical Modeling \nData Visualization (Tableau/Power BI) \nSpark or PySpark (preferred) \nDatabricks (preferred) \nCloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) \nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. \nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. \nAbility to present complex analytical findings to non-technical audiences. \nStrong collaboration and teamwork skills. \nSelf-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \nNice to Have:\nExperience working with IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva, Komodo Health, or similar healthcare datasets. \nExposure to Generative AI, NLP, or MLOps. \nKnowledge of healthcare compliance and data privacy regulations. \nContribute to organizational growth through capability building, mentoring, hiring, thought leadership, and driving engineering excellence initiatives across the practice. \nBeing a Mathemagician: \nEmbody MathCo’s culture and way of working. \nDemonstrate ownership and strive for excellence in delivering results. \nActively engage and contribute to initiatives fostering company growth. \nSupport diversity and appreciate different perspectives. \nRecognitions:\nPositioned as a Leader in Top Generative AI Service Providers -
