Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, Fleet & Facilities, you will work closely with the Fleet & Facilities Team, Operations, and suppliers to ensure teams have the necessary tools, materials, and components to effectively achieve their objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcurement & Sourcing\nPrepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.\nSource products, materials, equipment, and services from approved suppliers.\nObtain and evaluate vendor quotations, pricing, and terms.\nNegotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and service agreements where appropriate.\nEnsure purchase requests are approved and processed in a timely manner.\nVendor Management\nEstablish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.\nMonitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and service levels.\nAddress and resolve purchasing, invoicing, and delivery discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate supplier records and documentation.\nInventory & Materials Management\nMonitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities.\nTrack stock requirements and communicate shortages or delays to relevant stakeholders.\nAssist with inventory counts and reconciliation activities.\nCoordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure product availability.\nAdministrative Support\nMaintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and files.\nTrack orders and follow up on outstanding deliveries.\nVerify purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation for accuracy.\nPrepare procurement reports and purchasing metrics as required.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, budgets, and procurement procedures.\nEducational & Professional Requirements\nPost-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in purchasing, maintenance, contract management, logistics, or a related field.\nPurchasing or Supply Chain certification is considered an asset.\nExperience with inventory control procedures and best practices is considered an asset.\nWell-developed computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.\nConstruction industry experience is considered an asset.\nWorking Conditions\nTravel may be required.\nValid G Driver’s License required.\nAccess to a reliable vehicle.\nAbility to attend and conduct presentations.\nAbility to work effectively in high-pressure situations.\nManual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.\nOvertime may be required.\nAbility to lift or move up to 25 lbs. may
