Whether you are looking to start a new career or bring warehouse experience to a growing organization, we offer opportunities for training, advancement, and long-term career growth\nWe’re more than manufacturing, we’re MAT.\nBenefits\nMAT Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries offer a complete benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance after 60 days of employment\nPaid Time Off (PTO), including paid vacation, sick days, and paid holidays\n401k Retirement Plan + Company Match\nCareer Advancement Program, training and development\nWellness Programs, including fitness reimbursements and mental health support\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nVoluntary Life / AD&D , Employer Provided Life/AD&D\nand More\nWellness Programs, including fitness reimbursements and mental health support\nHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)\nVoluntary Life / AD&D , Employer Provided Life/AD&D and More\n The Human Resources Manager supports the Operations teams by administering core HR programs and promoting a safe, compliant workplace, with particular emphasis on warehouse safety, employee training, workers’ compensation, incident follow-up, and consistent application of safety policies and practices.\nPrinciple Responsibilities\nMaintains employment records confidentially, timely, and accurately, including new hire paperwork, benefit forms, and change notices.\nUpdates the HRIS for HR, Benefits, and Payroll processing and compiles reports from the database as needed\nConducts new hire orientation, annual benefits enrollment, and other training sessions as needed\nCoordinates employee relations issues to ensure the prompt and appropriate resolution\nMaintains weekly, monthly, and annual metrics\nAssists with writing communications, ensuring thorough familiarity and that they are interpreted accurately and applied consistently\nAssists with workers' compensation claims management by staying in contact with claims handlers, employees, and site management\nPartners with Operations and EH&S to reinforce warehouse safety policies, support safety training and incident investigations, monitor corrective actions, and promote safe work practices involving material-handling equipment, pedestrian traffic, and housekeeping.\nDevise programs for operational improvement (i.e., recognition, morale, safety)\nConduct exit interviews and complete paperwork for departing employees\nAssists with the facilitation of the annual performance management process\n Competencies\nExceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written\nMust be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment\nHighly detail-oriented with the ability to handle shifting deadlines and priorities.\nHigh level of commitment, sound judgment, excellent follow-through, and initiative\nUphold all company policies required to provide top-quality service to external customers\nA demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, and to work independently of day-to-day supervision\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, or equivalent experience, instead of a degree, will be considered\nPHR or SPHR Certification preferred\nMinimum three years of human resources experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment, including recruitment, employee relations, workers’ compensation, safety training, and support of workplace safety initiatives, preferred.\nSolid understanding of labor laws and regulations\nExperience working with highly confidential information while maintaining discretion\nStrong commitment to providing world-class customer service\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access\n MAT Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and have a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.
