Partnering with the Inbound leadership team to schedule inbound containers, check in inbound deliveries and move loads through Bluviz to ensure timely receipt of goods ahead of the Last Free Day and while avoiding per diem, storage or bobtail fees.\nPrinciple Responsibilities\nAdministrative support to the inbound and inventory function\nServe as a single point of contact for scheduling inbound freight\nWork with Inbound Mgr/Supv to ensure the timely unload of freight and within Last Free Day (LFD) parameters\nManage Street Turn to ensure containers are processed through to completion and we maintain strong internal controls to avoid per diem, storage, bob tail fees by managing inbound flow to the Last Free Day\nResponsible for coordinating and ensuring we have documented OS&D’s and report timely to the business unit, carrier, vendor, stakeholders\nReview inbound Shipment Notifications to assist Inbound Mgr/Supv with balancing workload/labor requirements\n Competencies\nExcellent oral and written communication skills required\nA demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to take initiative, to work independently of day-to-day supervision, and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization\nMust be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment\nHighly detail-oriented with the ability handle shifting deadlines and priorities\nHigh level of commitment, sound judgment, great follow-through, and initiative\nAdaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events\nAttendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time\nDependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
