When needed this person will be tasked to design and implement new or upgraded equipment controls. This person will report to the Maintenance Manager\nPay Range: $25-35/hour\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment and facilities.\nPromote safe work practices by following company safety policies.\nAssist in building controls for new equipment, as well as adding or upgrading controls on existing equipment.\nMaintain a clean work area and promote company 5S policies.\nIdentify root causes of maintenance downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.\nOrder repair parts for maintenance repairs to equipment and facilities.\nIdentify critical parts and make recommendations on additional spare parts inventory.\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas;\nMust have 5+ years experience as an industrial maintenance electrician with advanced machine controls and design experience as well as power distribution systems. \nAbility to troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nAdvanced training & knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC platform, as well as human machine interfaces (HMI).\nMust have a working knowledge of National Electric Code\nExcellent interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, electronic, etc…\nMust be self-motivated and proven strong leadership skills.\nAble to identify problems and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtime.\nMust have excellent decision-making and team motivational skills.\nAbility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, adversity, and changes.\nMust be willing to have a flexible work schedule that supports production and process improvements\nJOB PREREQUISITES:\nAbility to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hr week. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to get the required tasks accomplished to meet deadlines. \nHighly motivated, well-organized.\nMaintain high personal standards of quality.\nDemonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as effectively communicating with management and direct reports.
