Train, motivate and lead the department to meet all daily production and safety goals, while taking direction from shift supervisor. Take on accountability for all department operations, actions and results.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor and enforce Safety and Company policies\nTrain and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as required\nAssist in development of department performance and productivity standards\nHands on as needed based on workload and manpower\nMaintain and update start, hourly and end of shift reports \nAttend all department and company meetings as required\nAssist shipping supervisor in directing workflow\nProvide input for employee evaluations\nComplete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned\nMaintain good housekeeping\nOther duties as assigned\n Strong written and verbal skill\nAbility to communicate in English\nJudgement and decision making \nAdept knowledge of RF Scanners/Systems\nUse of computers and associated software programs including Microsoft Office\nAbility to be certified to operate a Forklift (Order Picker, Sit-down or Walkie-Rider)\nAbility to understand the basic throughput of a Logistics Operation\nAbility to lead 10 or more people in a warehouse setting\nShipping and/or Receiving experience\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in Warehousing\n MAT Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and have a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.
