This role includes managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring that all products are handled efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies. The supervisor will coordinate with various departments to optimize workflow, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate records of incoming stock.\nReviews inbound purchase orders, advance ship notices (ASNs), bills of lading, and receiving documentation to determine receiving priorities, work assignments, and methods required to meet inbound schedules, utilizing knowledge of receiving procedures and inventory systems\nOversees all inbound receiving activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of incoming shipments\nDetermines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out the position of shipment\nDetermines staging and put-away locations for inbound freight and coordinates efficient product flow from the receiving dock to storage areas\nInspects unloading operations to ensure compliance with inbound receiving specifications and company standards\nInspects material handling equipment for defects and notifies maintenance personnel or contacts outside service facilities for repair\nDirects movement of inbound shipments from the receiving dock to staging, storage, and reserve areas\nIssues written and oral instructions to receiving associates to ensure daily workload completion\nStudies and standardizes receiving procedures to improve efficiency and throughput of subordinates\nMaintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances in a timely and professional manner\nPrepares composite performance and productivity reports from individual associate data\nIdentifies and resolves receiving discrepancies, overages, shortages, and damaged freight\nUnderstands and applies Company policies and procedures consistently across the team\nMaintains good housekeeping in the inbound area and adheres to established Company safety policies at all times\nResponsible for the adherence and execution of standardized inbound receiving procedures\nResponsible for the correction and accuracy of all work performed under their supervision\nMonitors and tracks key inbound metrics, including units per hour (UPH), dock-to-stock time, and receiving accuracy\nCoordinates with the inventory control team to ensure proper reconciliation of received purchase orders\nCommunicates inbound volume, staffing needs, and operational challenges to the Inbound Manager\nServes as an example to subordinates and enforces all applicable safety rules\nSAP and RF scanner experience required\n High school diploma or G.E.D.\n1+ year experience in supervisory role\nMust be able to obtain forklift license through the Company\nBilingual - English & Spanish speaking preferred\n MAT Holdings Inc. and its subsidiaries are committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace and have a zero-tolerance policy regarding the use of illegal drugs and alcohol on the job.
