Our mission-driven team values learning and curiosity in a high-ownership culture.\nWe're looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join us on the ground floor, with runway for huge and immediate impact.\nWhat you'll do\nWork on end-to-end design and manufacturing of critical PCBAs in the system\n\nRapid prototyping, component selection, schematic capture, prototype bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification, and signal characterization\n\nBoard layout of PCB assemblies including SoCs, microcontrollers, rugged connectors, sensors, power devices, etc.\n\nElectromechanical integration through collaboration with mechanical and firmware engineers\n\nDevelop specifications and accelerated test plans to validate the product for its lifetime\n\nWork with CMs to ensure proper production of PCBAs and subassemblies, perhaps also flying out to be on the line as well\n\nWhat we look for\nTechnical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent\n\n2-4 years of professional electrical design experience on a product (preferably a consumer product) that has shipped in high volume\n\nPrevious ECAD experience with tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or equivalent\n\nExperience with common digital protocols including I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI\n\nExperience with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout\n\nExperience with verifying and validating functional requirements of the electrical systems\n\nExposure to regulatory certification processes\n\nSupply chain management and PCBA contract manufacturing experience\n\nComfort with fast-paced, startup atmosphere -- you don’t shy away from the hard work\n\nHigh level of maturity, ownership, and pride in your work\n\nWe'd love to hear from you if...\nYou are genuinely motivated to help those around you\n\nYou are passionate about learning outside of your normal comfort zones\n\nYou love diagnosing complex technical issues\n\nYou are excited to do great work\n\nCompensation:\nBase: $120,000 - $200,000 per annum.\nActual Compensation will depend on skills, experience and qualifications.
