The incumbent will be responsible for administering and enhancing core business systems and support processes, leveraging no-code tools to drive efficiency. As the core representative of the IT Service Desk, this individual will set a benchmark for technical excellence and process improvement.\nThis role is essential in ensuring optimal system performance and the continuous improvement of IT solutions. The goal is to build a scalable, automated, and user-centric IT environment that supports our global business operations.\nWhat will you be doing?\nIT Systems Automation\nAct as the final technical authority and escalation point for complex issues related to core systems and processes.\n\nRelentlessly automate manual processes across all systems, particularly user lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding), using no-code tools and scripting.\n\nOwn the technical delivery and stability of high-profile, company-wide events (e.g., All Hands) hosted on Zoom.\n\nProcess Automation & Optimization\nCollaborate with internal teams (like People & Culture and Security) to remove friction from key business processes, re-engineering workflows for speed and efficiency.\n\nProactively analyse support ticket trends to identify and eliminate entire classes of service requests through automation or system improvements.\n\nOwn and automate the monitoring of hardware and SaaS compliance, ensuring all systems align with business and security standards.\n\nMaintain and build a comprehensive knowledge base, documenting system architecture, processes, and automation workflows.\n\nLeadership & Incident Management\nAs the core IT representative in the office, provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on engineering best practices.\n\nAct as the primary technical lead for incidents impacting core systems, assuming the role of Incident Commander as required.\n\nOwn the problem management lifecycle: identify recurring incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and engineer permanent solutions to prevent reoccurrence.\n\nLead and participate in IT improvement projects, with a strong focus on strategic automation initiatives.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nSkills Required\nDeep technical expertise in engineering, administering, and automating cloud-based and physical IT infrastructure, including: Okta (or similar IdP), Google Workspace, Atlassian Suite, Zoom, Slack, Jamf (macOS/iOS), and Intune (Windows/Android).\n\nA proven track record of proactively identifying and eliminating technical friction by engineering automated solutions, moving beyond simple ticket resolution.\n\nStrong experience with no-code automation tools (e.g., N8n, Zapier, Workato) or scripting (e.g., Python, GAM) to build and maintain efficient workflows.\n\nDemonstrated experience in technical mentorship and a strong capability for leadership, acting as a technical authority and guide.\n\nExcellent understanding of user lifecycle processes (onboarding/offboarding) and compliance management, with direct experience in automating these workflows.\n\nExperience in managing vendor relationships and acting as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues.\n\nProficiency in incident and problem management, with a focus on root cause analysis and engineering permanent fixes.
