The role is responsible for planning, configuring, implementing, and supporting technology solutions for customers or internal stakeholders. This position works closely with project managers, engineers, and end users to ensure systems are installed correctly, meet business requirements, and are delivered on schedule. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position.\nThis position reports to the Director of Industrial Field Operations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nConfigure, install, and implement software and hardware solutions.\nGather and document customer or business requirements.\nDevelop implementation plans, timelines, and deployment strategies.\nPerform system testing, validation, and quality assurance.\nTroubleshoot technical issues during implementation and provide timely resolution.\nTrain end users and administrators on system functionality and best practices.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and implementation procedures.\nCollaborate with project managers, developers, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery.\nMonitor project progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.\nProvide post-implementation support and recommend process improvements.\nEnsure compliance with company standards, security policies, and industry best practices.\nQualifications & Competencies\nEmployment Eligibility & Verification\nAll applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for work authorization (e.g., H-1B, TN, or other visas) at this time.\nThe successful candidate should have a minimum of a Certificate of Completion from a technical or trade school.\n2-5 years of experience in field services, technical consulting, systems support, or a related customer-facing technical role.\nStrong experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows and/or Linux operating systems.\nProven ability to diagnose complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.\nStrong customer service orientation with exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills.\nDetail-oriented team player with the adaptability to learn new technologies and thrive in evolving environments.\nWorking Conditions\nThe candidate will be required to work in various indoor and outdoor facilities.\nTravel up to 75% and ability to work various shifts as required by customer.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near large moving machinery.\nThe candidate can be at risk of electrical shock.\nMatrix employees are provided with and required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, steel toe shoes, reflective clothing, earplugs, and safety glasses.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, or crouch.
