This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a few years of experience who is looking to further develop their technical accounting knowledge and gain broader exposure within a multinational business environment.\nThe position will have primary responsibility for inventory accounting and fixed assets, while also supporting month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger activities, statutory requirements, and other accounting processes.\nThe successful candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, good analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and take increasing ownership of accounting processes.\nWhat Your Impact Will Be:\nInventory Accounting\nBe responsible for the end-to-end inventory accounting process.\nPerform monthly inventory reconciliations between the General Ledger, inventory subledger, warehouse records, and other relevant systems.\nReview inventory movements and investigate differences or unusual transactions.\nMonitor and account for inventory in transit, goods receipts, inventory adjustments, returns, write-offs, and other inventory movements.\nPrepare and post inventory-related month-end journal entries and accruals.\nFixed Assets\nMaintain accurate accounting records for the company's fixed assets.\nEnsure assets are correctly categorized and depreciated in accordance with the company's accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.\nMonitor assets under construction / construction in progress (CIP) and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely capitalization.\nPrepare fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audit purposes.\nMonth-End Closing & General Accounting\nParticipate actively in the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes.\nPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications and other accounting adjustments.\nPrepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate reconciling items and ensure timely resolution.\nAssist the Accounting Manager and other Finance team members with ad hoc accounting analyses, projects and process improvement initiatives.\nDevelop knowledge across different accounting processes and provide backup support to other members of the Accounting team when required.\n What We’re Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.\nApproximately 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a multinational or structured corporate environment.\nGood understanding of fundamental accounting principles and the relationship between the income statement, balance sheet and General Ledger.\nPrevious exposure to inventory accounting and participation in month-end closing and account reconciliation processes would be an advantage.\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, lookups and data analysis.\nExperience with an ERP system such as Oracle, SAP or similar would be an advantage.\nVery good command of written and spoken English.\nExposure to US GAAP and/or IFRS would be considered an advantage.\nSkills & Competencies\nAccounting knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals with an interest in developing deeper technical knowledge of inventory, fixed assets and general accounting.\nAnalytical mindset: Ability to analyze account movements, identify discrepancies, investigate their root causes and propose appropriate corrections.\nAttention to detail: High level of accuracy when working with financial data, reconciliations and accounting entries.\nOwnership and accountability: Willingness to take responsibility for assigned accounting areas and follow issues through to resolution.\nLearning agility: Strong desire to learn new accounting processes, systems and business activities and gradually take on greater responsibilities.\nOrganization and time management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, particularly during month-end and year-end closing periods.\nCommunication: Ability to communicate clearly with Finance colleagues and cross-functional teams and explain accounting issues in a practical manner.\nTeamwork: Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across different accounting activities when required.\nProblem solving: Ability to investigate issues rather than simply identify them, understand the underlying cause and work toward an appropriate solution.\nSystems orientation: Comfortable working with ERP systems and large volumes of financial data, with an interest in improving and automating accounting processes.\n What We Offer:\nGross annual salary range of TRY 1,520,000 -
