This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving abilities.\nWhat Your Impact Will Be:\nInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, including wiring issues, circuit breakers, and control systems.\nRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs.\nPerform scheduled maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failure.\nIdentify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs in electrical systems.\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and industry standards.\nCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to meet deadlines and project goals in construction and retrofit environments.\nSupervise, mentor, and support apprentices and junior electricians.\nMaintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, time spent, and materials used.\nFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA standards.\n What We’re Looking For:\n5-7 years of hands-on experience as a certified electrician.\nProven track record in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.\nExperience working in residential, commercial, industrial, and construction environments.\nConstruction site electrical experience including new builds, remodels, and infrastructure projects is required.\nExperience with fire alarm and fire system control panels is required.\nFamiliarity with automated systems, energy-efficient technologies, or smart home installations is a plus.\nExperienced with fire system controls and fire alarm control panels is required.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nCompletion of a certified electrical apprenticeship or equivalent formal training.\nProficient in electrical system troubleshooting, repairs, and code compliance.\nAbility to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and circuit diagrams.\nSolid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nRequired Certifications & Training\nValid state-issued electrician license (Journeyman or Master, as required).\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (based on job site requirements).\nCPR and First Aid certification (preferred).\nSpecialized training in high-voltage systems, renewable energy, or industrial electrical work (preferred but not required).\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in outdoor conditions.\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., standing, kneeling, climbing ladders).\nWork may involve exposure to electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and construction site environments.\n*The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
