Sr. Tooling Engineer is a core technical role responsible for tool validation, technical problem-solving, and continuous tooling improvement for injection molding production. Also, provide on the overall process control, optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement of the plastic injection molding.\n The Opportunity:\nThe Senior Tooling Engineer is responsible for tool validation, technical problem-solving, and continuous tooling improvement for injection molding production.\nWhat Your Impact Will Be:\nTechnical & Engineering Excellence\nProvide engineering standardization for co-man vendors.\nTo support co-man vendors to drive for improvements such as reduce throw-off, optimize the cycle time and improve output\nProvide technical training to improve the technical molding skillsets\nEnhance the Mold Qualification buy-off at vendor site and tool build vendor to improve the tool quality\nLeadership & Team Development\nProvide technical leadership and management for co-man vendors engineering team.\nWork closely with Co-man Team, MOA Engineering Team, O/O plants & Co-man vendors\nBuild a structured team training system to upgrade the overall technical competency of process engineers.\nFoster a high-execution technical team culture and cultivate independent problem-solving capabilities.\nCross-Functional Influence\nAct as the core technical interface and key influencer across multi-functional teams including production, quality, engineering and tooling vendors.\nProactively align process standardization such as “Best Practice with O/O plants”\nSupport location includes China, Vietnam and India plus O/O plant - Montoi Bricks\nBudget Control\nManage the OH & deliver saving to the company\nCulture & Continuous Improvement\nEstablish a LEAN culture and drive continuous improvement in daily activities\n What We’re Looking For:\nA molding technical engineer with deep expertise in injection molding engineering.\nCan solve the molding problem in co-man vendors.\nAble to identify improvement ideas and working with the team to implement the application in production run\nEngineering Background with solid hand-on experience in Injection Molding Process.\nPrefer to have Mattel working experience\nUnderstand the Scientific Molding Method and be able to apply and set up the injection molding process\nStrong communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.\nGood English specking and writing skills.\nStrong problem-solving skills, good communication skills and project management capacity\n Don’t meet every single requirement?
