While development and enhancements will be part of the role, the primary focus will be on production support, incident management, monitoring, performance tuning, and operational governance.\nThe candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad. This role operates in a global support model and requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts aligned with US and other global time zones, including critical planning windows.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduction Support & Operational Ownership\nProvide Level 2 / Level 3 production support for enterprise Anaplan models.\n\nOwn end-to-end monitoring of: Model performance, Scheduled imports/exports, Integration processes, Workflow executions, Data synchronization jobs\n\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) for: Model calculation issues, Data mismatches, Integration failures, User access issues, Performance degradation\n\nResolve incidents and service requests within defined SLAs and KPIs.\n\nSupport critical planning cycles (month-end, forecast cycles, S&OP windows) with heightened monitoring.\n\nManage user access, security roles, selective access, and workspace administration.\n\nCoordinate with ERP, BI, data engineering, and integration teams to resolve cross-platform issues.\n\nSupport production deployments, change migrations, and post-release validations.\n\nMaintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting documentation.\n\nParticipate in rotational shift coverage aligned with global planning operations (as needed).\n\nDrive problem management initiatives to eliminate recurring production defects.\n\nConduct impact analysis for configuration changes and emergency fixes.\n\nModel Performance Optimization & Governance\nMonitor and improve model size, sparsity, and calculation performance.\n\nApply DISCO and PLANS best practices to improve scalability.\n\nIdentify formula inefficiencies and structural bottlenecks.\n\nOptimize large lists, hierarchies, and modules to reduce processing time.\n\nSupport workspace management and capacity planning.\n\nEnsure adherence to naming conventions, documentation standards, and version control best practices.\n\nMaintain governance over change management and model lifecycle processes.\n\nData Integration & Interface Support\nSupport and monitor integrations between Anaplan and upstream systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools).\n\nManage data import/export actions, processes, and scheduled automation jobs.\n\nTroubleshoot integration failures using: Anaplan Bulk APIs, Transactional APIs, CloudWorks, Anaplan Data Orchestrator\n\nPerform reconciliation between Anaplan and source systems (Google BigQuery, Oracle DB, SQL DB).\n\nWork closely with data engineering teams to resolve data pipeline issues.\n\nEnsure data governance and integrity across planning systems.\n\nEnhancements & Model Development (Secondary Focus)\nImplement minor enhancements and change requests within existing models.\n\nDevelop modules, dashboards, workflows, and calculation logic improvements.\n\nSupport new feature enablement (e.g., Workflow, Polaris).\n\nAssist in UAT cycles and regression testing for releases.\n\nCollaborate with architects on structural improvements.\n\nCollaboration & Leadership\nServe as the primary technical escalation point for production issues.\n\nMentor junior model builders in debugging and optimization best practices.\n\nPartner with business users to resolve planning discrepancies.\n\nSupport training sessions and enablement activities for end users.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning for support and enhancement backlog.\n\n Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.\n\nExperience: 5+ years of Anaplan experience, including hands-on model building in complex supply chain environments.\n\nTechnical Skills: Proven experience in implementing Anaplan for Demand Planning or Supply Chain Planning use cases. Deep understanding of Anaplan formulas, functions, model optimization techniques, and user access controls. Should be Anaplan L3 certified/Solution architect. Master Anaplanner is highly preferred. Knowledge of Administration, Polaris, Workflow, Anaplan Data Orchestrator would be a significant advantage. Strong grasp of planning processes such as forecasting, demand shaping, and S&OP. Experience with data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, SnapLogic, Informatica) is a plus.\n\nLeadership Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.\n\nCultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and highly dynamic environment and manage teams across different time zones. Must be multi-tasker and able to prioritize and deliver assignments with the highest quality under pressure with short deadline.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nWorked on projects using The Anaplan Way or other Agile methodologies.\n\nBackground in industries like consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, or life sciences.\n\nFamiliarity with forecasting algorithms and KPIs used in demand and supply planning and S&OP.\n\nExperience in Polaris would be a significant advantage\n\nExperience with other planning applications such as Blue Yonder/JDA Demand/Supply Planning is a plus\n\nAbout Us: We are a leading organization committed to leveraging technology to drive business success.
