The incumbent will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and business performance analysis, while partnering with shared services and regional stakeholders. The role also supports audits, SOX compliance, statutory reporting, customer credit management, and process improvement initiatives to ensure strong financial controls and business performance.\nWhat Your Impact Will Be:\nFinancial Accounting and Reporting\nPrepare and maintain the general ledger as per Mattel’s accounting policy.\nCoordinate with shared service team and complete the month end closing and submission as per corporate reporting deadlines.\nComplete the Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Financial Reporting Package accurately and timely.\nAnaylsis on business proformance, P&L tracking and commentary on month end close package.\nComplete the internal management reporting package on a timely basis and to discuss with superior on the financial position relative to plan and highlight variance from plan and forecasts.\nReconcile assets and liabilities accounts on a monthly basis.\nHandle enquires from external and internal audit, SOX, tax and other statutory reporting.\nCustomer / Supplier Management\nLiaison with customers on their outstanding balance and reconcile their advance payment or defective deduction claims. Include sending statement of account and review for bad debt provision.\nMonitor simulation and delivery of customer benefits.\nPrepare weekly and monthly AR aging reporting.\nPerform credit control analysis and review for customers\nAnnual review on customers credit term, credit limit and deal term.\nFinancial Planning\nTo work with FP&A team in preparation of financial plan and forecast on SG&A and balance sheet items.\nTo prepare periodic cash flow forecast in accordance to Corporate Treasury guidance.\nAnalysis and comment on cashflow forecast by weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.\nAdhoc project for finance function on process improvement\n What We’re Looking For:\nBachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy with professional Accounting qualification (will delete if not mandatory\n7+ years experience where at least 3 years in audit firm, and in-house experience in MNC environment, preferably in consumer product industry.\nExperience in ERP system e.g Oracle, High Radius highly preferred.\nWell versed with local and US GAAP.\nAttentive to detail.\nAdaptive to dynamic environment and be able to work with people at all levels across countries.\nGood command of English and Chinese.\n Don’t meet every single requirement?
