You will collaborate closely with AI engineers, data scientists, frontend developers, and DevOps teams to deliver intelligent, reliable, and high-performance backend services.\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience in building AI-enabled systems using modern Python frameworks and cloud infrastructure, with strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architecture.\nKey Responsibilities\nAI Application Development\nDesign and develop backend services to power AI-driven applications.\n\nIntegrate Large Language Models (LLMs), ML models, or AI services into production systems.\n\nBuild RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).\n\nImplement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines and AI orchestration workflows where applicable.\n\nOptimize AI inference performance, latency, and reliability.\n\nCloud & Infrastructure (GCP)\nDesign and deploy AI backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nWork with GCP services such as:\n\nBigQuery\n\nCloud Run\n\nCloud Functions\n\nCompute Engine\n\nGKE (Kubernetes Engine)\n\nCloud Storage\n\nVertex AI (preferred)\n\nEnsure scalability, monitoring, and fault tolerance of cloud applications.\n\nImplement IAM policies, security best practices, and environment isolation.\n\nData & Integration\nDevelop data pipelines to support AI models and analytics workflows.\n\nIntegrate backend systems with third-party APIs and enterprise applications.\n\nWork with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery).\n\nHandle data validation, transformation, and preprocessing logic.\n\nDevOps & CI/CD\nContainerize applications using Docker.\n\nDeploy and manage services using Kubernetes (GKE preferred).\n\nImplement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins).\n\nMonitor application health and performance using logging and observability tools.\n\nCollaboration & Engineering Excellence\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-documented code.\n\nConduct peer code reviews.\n\nTroubleshoot and debug production issues.\n\nContribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement.\n\nTechnical Skill Set\nProgramming\nPython (Advanced)\n\nSQL\n\nFrameworks\nFastAPI / Flask / Django\n\nAsync programming (asyncio)\n\nCloud\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)\n\nVertex AI (preferred)\n\nBigQuery\n\nCloud Run / GKE\n\nDevOps\nDocker\n\nKubernetes\n\nCI/CD pipelines\n\nGit\n\nAI/ML\nLLM integrations\n\nRAG pipelines\n\nPrompt engineering basics\n\nEmbedding & vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, etc.)\n\nKey Competencies\nStrong backend system design skills\n\nOwnership mindset\n\nCross-functional collaboration\n\nClear communication skills\n\nAbility to work in fast-paced, AI-driven environments\n\n What We’re Looking For:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\n5.5 to 9 years of backend development experience.\n\nStrong proficiency in Python.\n\nHands-on experience with GCP cloud services.\n\nExperience building scalable backend systems and APIs.\n\nKnowledge of microservices architecture.\n\nStrong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming.\n\nExperience with SQL-based databases.\n\nFamiliarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud-native deployment.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI/ML frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch).\n\nExperience with Vertex AI or GCP AI services.\n\nExperience building LLM-based applications (RAG, Agents, embeddings).\n\nExperience with message queues (Pub/Sub, Kafka).\n\nKnowledge of MLOps best practices.\n\nGCP certification (Professional Cloud Developer / Data Engineer / ML Engineer).\n\nExperience in high-scale, enterprise-grade AI systems.\n\n Don’t meet every single requirement?
