We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.\nThe Training Supervisor - DTC Operations works in a fast-paced e-commerce distribution environment and is responsible for coordinating, directing, and supervising the training function for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) operations. This role partners closely with Operations leadership to ensure warehouse employees are properly trained to meet or exceed productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety standards across DTC functions\n To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. The list below is not all-inclusive.\nSupervises, directs, and coaches warehouse trainers, leads, and DTC associates.\nCoordinates and manages training schedules, onboarding activities, cross-training initiatives, and workflow for assigned employees.\nPartners with Operations leadership to identify training needs and ensure staffing readiness to support daily DTC volume and service level expectations.\nFacilitates new hire orientation, equipment certification, process training, and ongoing development for warehouse employees.\nEnsures employees understand and consistently follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality expectations, and safety requirements.\nMonitors employee performance during and after training, providing coaching and feedback to improve productivity, quality, and accuracy.\nMaintains training records, certifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.\nUtilizes warehouse management systems (WMS), spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools to track training progress and support workforce planning.\nSupports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying training gaps and recommending process improvements.\nPartners with Human Resources and Operations Management to address employee performance, development, and training-related concerns.\nEnsures compliance with all Mattel policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and operational standards.\nParticipates in special projects and other duties as assigned by Distribution Center Management.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupervises employees engaged in DTC warehouse operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coaching, training, and developing employees\nPlanning, assigning, and directing work\nMonitoring productivity and quality expectations\nConducting performance evaluations\nRecognizing and addressing performance issues\nAssisting with interviewing and hiring efforts\nResolving employee concerns and partnering with HR on employee relations matters\n\nFlexibility and teamwork are essential to this role. Employees may be required to perform duties outside those listed above to support business needs, staffing requirements, or cross-functional training initiatives.\n Five or more years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or e-commerce environment.\nExperience leading employee training, onboarding, coaching, and development programs preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.\nExperience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); AS/400 experience preferred.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with employees, trainers, leads, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional business partners.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information and facilitate group training.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational reports and performance metrics.\nStrong mathematical skills with the ability to calculate percentages, productivity, labor, and operational metrics.\nBilingual in English and Spanish preferred.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, including forklifts and powered industrial vehicles, airborne particles generated by warehouse equipment, and varying weather conditions due to open dock doors throughout the year. The position requires regular walking throughout the distribution center and occasional lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.\nThis role supports a fast-paced Direct-to-Consumer fulfillment operation and may require flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules during peak business periods.\n Don’t meet every single requirement?
