You’ll assemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot aircraft and ground equipment to aerospace-grade standards, working closely with our Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams.\nIn this role, you will:\nAssemble UAVs and related ground support equipment to aerospace-grade quality standards\nInspect, troubleshoot, and improve electromechanical systems\nPerform through-hole and SMT soldering\nBuild wire harnesses, perform terminal crimping, and route cables cleanly and securely\nUse precision tools and measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and quality\nExecute tests using specialized fixtures and equipment\nWrite clear, detailed work instructions that are easy to follow\nUse software tools to test, track, and share production data with teammates\nWork both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience building aerospace-grade or similar high-precision products\nFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate\nStrong ability to follow complex instructions, schematics, and SOPs\nExperience working with sensitive electronics, such as circuit boards, cameras, and flex cables\nFamiliarity with fabrication in plastics, composites, and metals\nSkill in troubleshooting and reworking complex mechanical and electrical assemblies\nComfort executing tests using specialized fixtures and equipment\nGood understanding of production safety, 5S, and quality control\nA track record of meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional workmanship\nPreferred Qualifications:\nFamiliarity with IPC-A-610\nExperience with UAV-specific assembly and maintenance\nMachine shop tooling experience\nKnowledge of lithium-ion battery technology\nFamiliarity with autopilots, companion computers, and dynamic electromechanical systems\nExperience with Jira and Confluence\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This range reflects the target starting pay for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for the role.
