You'll own the web applications that operators, partners, and customers use every day, from the interface down through the APIs that power it, and help set the technical direction of our frontend. This is a hands-on role in a safety-critical environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nOwn and deliver operator, partner, and customer-facing web applications end to end, from UI through API\nBuild and extend backend services and APIs that support those applications\nSet frontend architecture, standards, and patterns, including component design, state management, performance, and accessibility\nOwn the quality of what ships through end-to-end and integration testing, code review, and release practices\nProvide technical support, triaging and resolving production and field issues\nCollaborate with product, operations, backend, and safety teams to turn requirements into reliable workflows\nRequirements\n6+ years building and operating production web applications, with a track record of owning major features or products independently\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with experience building on modern web frameworks\nSolid backend skills in Node.js/TypeScript, including API design and relational databases\nExperience with automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and CI/CD\nAn eye for usable, reliable UX in operational or data-heavy applications\nClear technical communication and cross-functional collaboration\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with authentication and identity providers\nExperience with real-time data, mapping, dashboards, or operational control interfaces\nExperience with e-commerce or ordering platforms\nUAV, aerospace, logistics, or other operationally critical domain experience\nExperience using AI coding assistants to accelerate development\nBenefits\nAt Matternet, we’re advancing a new era of logistics, one where autonomous drones deliver what matters faster, cleaner, and more efficiently. This range reflects the target starting pay for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for the role.
