You’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern society and enhancing lives - as we continue to apply, refine and recycle metals that matter, for a healthier and more resilient future.\nThe role:\nAs a Contractor Coordinator, you will help drive our goals by:\nProvide coordination and oversight of all third-party contractor activities related to project, maintenance, testing, and inspection work undertaken on site.\nReview and agree contractor EHS plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and safe systems of work with contractors and relevant site stakeholders prior to work commencement.\nAct as the key liaison between contractors, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and EHS teams to ensure effective communication and safe execution of contracted work.\nEnsure full compliance with JM policies, procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and applicable Indian EHS legislation for all contractor activities conducted on site.\nMonitor contractor performance through inspections, audits, incident management, and performance reporting to promote safe working practices and continuous improvement.\nSupport the application of contractor management best practices through effective contractor onboarding, competency verification, compliance assurance, and performance governance.\nKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:\nSafety Focus - Identifying and improving conditions that affect own and others’ safety.
