Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.\nThe role:\nAs an Electrical Technician, you will help drive our goals by:\nCarrying out electrical maintenance activities to ensure the safe, compliant and reliable operation of production equipment, utilities and site infrastructure.\nInstalling, testing, inspecting and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the Brimsdown site.\nDiagnosing faults, identifying root causes of breakdowns and implementing effective corrective actions.\nDelivering planned preventative maintenance activities and supporting continuous equipment reliability improvements.\nRecording maintenance activities using SAP CMMS and identifying required spare parts for repairs.\nMaintaining high standards of health, safety and compliance, including adherence to Life Saving Policies and engineering standards.\nKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:\nCompleted a recognised electrical maintenance apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).\nHold 18th Edition City & Guilds 2382 certification and experience in electrical isolation, testing and inspection.\nStrong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems.\nExperience working within an industrial manufacturing or process environment, ideally in a shift-based role.\nKnowledge of electrical distribution systems, protective devices and structured problem-solving techniques.\nExperience using CMMS systems such as SAP, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and attention to detail.\nEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!\nDue to the nature of this role applicants must be non-smokers and have been free from nicotine products for at least 3 months\nWorking Hours: This role is based on-site at Brimsdown and operates on a rotating 12-hour day and night shift pattern, including weekend working.\nWhat we offer:\nWe make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
