As an Electro Mechanic, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.\nThe role:\nAs an Electro Mechanic, you will help drive our goals by:\nPerforming preventive, scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment to support safe and reliable operations.\nTroubleshooting and repairing motors, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, power distribution equipment and control systems.\nDiagnosing equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs to minimise downtime.\nInstalling, modifying and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, controls and production equipment in line with applicable standards and procedures.\nReading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to complete maintenance and installation activities.\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance and operational excellence.\nKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:\nExperience maintaining and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical industrial equipment.\nKnowledge of power distribution systems, motors, control circuits and industrial electrical systems.\nExperience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures efficiently.\nCommitment to safe working practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and working in regulated industrial environments.\nShift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), 3rd Shift (11:30P-7AM)\nEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!\nWhat we offer:\nWe make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
