As a Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll contribute to JM’s mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future.\nThe role:\nAs a Warehouse Team Lead, you will help drive our goals by:\nLeading day-to-day warehouse shift activities, providing clear direction, regular communication and support to Warehouse Technicians \nRole modelling Johnson Matthey’s values while promoting a strong safety culture aligned to EHS standards and Life Saving Policies \nCoordinating shipping, receiving, material storage and timely delivery of materials to support production requirements \nSupporting team development through coaching, performance feedback and contribution to annual performance reviews in partnership with the Warehouse Supervisor \nEnsuring effective onboarding, training and documentation for new team members \nLeading problem-solving activities, escalating operational or safety issues where required and supporting continuous improvement and 5S initiatives \nKey skills that will help you succeed in this role:\nHigh school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred \n2-3 years of warehouse or material control experience, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment \nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred \nWorking knowledge of EHS, OSHA and hazardous material handling and shipping requirements \nConfidence using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint \nStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-based, high-volume operation \nEven if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!\nWhat we offer:\nWe make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities.
