If you have a proven background in receivables management and credit control and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact on the financial health of a fast-growing business, we'd love to hear from you.\nIn this role, you'll take ownership of the group's credit control operations - managing inbound cash collection, assessing credit risk, and acting as a trusted partner to the sales team to maintain healthy cash flow across the business.\nWhat we're looking for:\nproven experience managing receivables, ideally within a group environment\nstrong knowledge of credit control principles, credit risk assessment, and collections strategies\nexperience owning receivables month-end processes, including bad debt provision and cash flow reporting\nproficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office, including Dynamics 365 (Desirable)\nconfident, professional communication style - both written and verbal\nhighly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently\na collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities\nKey Responsibilities:\ndevelop and implement effective collections strategies, including fee deduction and direct debit collections\nmonitor and follow up on overdue payments, partnering with consultants and clients to resolve billing issues and negotiate payment plans where necessary\nmaintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment activity within Dynamics 365\nproduce aged debt analysis reports, manage bad debt provision, and contribute to cash flow forecasts\nown and maintain group receivables schedules for both month-end and year-end reporting\nsupport the Accounts Receivable Team Leader with the adoption of acquisition-inherited debt\nprovide first-line review and training support for Finance Assistants and junior finance staff\nWhat's in it for you:\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career here at Mattioli Woods, take on greater responsibility, and make a real impact within a team you may already know well.
