Aloha~\nThe major function of this position is:\nThe position will provide financial analysis and support to the business in multiple ways with a dedicated focus on profitability analysis. The role will require a deep understanding of all components of net sales, product costs and marginality impacting overall profitability in order to organize, communicate and present timely, accurate and actional financial reporting to the Finance team and key leaders across the Company.\nSalary Range: $78,000 - $85,000\n1st Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM\n*Ability to work remote 1 day a week.\nThe principal responsibilities and duties of this position are:\nDesign and develop tools, processes, analysis and reporting to provide insights into key drivers behind margin results.\n\nAnalyze and review selling prices and gross-to-net components, including discounts, rebates, incentives and returns.\n\nAnalyze and review product costs, including finished goods, component parts, packaging, as well as any foreign exchange purchase impacts.\n\nAssist in the sales budget and forecast processes, including analyzing and reporting results to key individuals of the management team.\n\nAssist the team in cost and margin budgeting and forecasting.\n\nServe as a financial resource in reviewing and analyzing forecast and budget variances.\n\nProvide timely and accurate standard monthly and quarterly financial reports.\n\nEnsure proper accounting and reporting of revenue related transactions.\n\nBuild recurring and ad-hoc reports from the ground up to help measure and analyze business performance.\n\nAssist in development of new and innovative ways to provide useful, accurate and timely financial information.\n\nSupport Finance team with various reconciliations and data requests.\n\nComplete other special projects and work at the request of management or other personnel.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nAs a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-4 years of relevant experience\n\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel\n\nFundamental skill set in Microsoft Access\n\nExperience with SAP ERP, SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation), and Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) is a plus.\n\nListed below are the skills preferred for this position:\nSolid accounting knowledge\n\nAbility to analyze financial data\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nQuick to adapt and manage priorities\n\nAttention to detail\n\nAbility to efficiently process multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently\n\nProblem solving skills\n\nTeam player able to focus on team needs first\n\nSpecial Physical Requirements:\nAbility to communicate in a variety of business settings\n\nAbility to utilize a PC\n\nWork Shift:\n1st Shift (United States of America)Special Language Requirement (If Applicable):\nSalary is only one component of total compensation at Maui Jim!
