Aloha~\nThe major function of this position is:\nTo provide lab support in the Maui Jim Prescription Lens Manufacturing Lab.\nHourly Rate of Pay: $18.00\nShift Differential: $2.00/hr.\nShift Hours: 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Sunday through Thursday)\nEssential Duties:\nRun multiple operations within the Surface, Finish and/or AR Coatroom departments to process Maui Jim prescription lenses.\n\nTimely manage the flow of lenses and trays through the process.\n\nMaintain equipment maintenance and operating manuals.\n\nMaintain continual operation of machinery.\n\nCross-train into all department activities and positions.\n\nFollow written procedures to insure proper and efficient operation of all equipment.\n\nMulti-task to maintain the efficient flow of production and breakage.\n\nWork between all Rx departments to accomplish our mutual goal of high production, low spoilage, customer satisfaction and high quality.\n\nMonitor and assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment. Consult with the Lab Manager on equipment breakdowns, part orders, and expansion needs.\n\nMaintain the cleanliness of the equipment.\n\nFollow all lab safety procedures.\n\nPerform all other duties as requested or required by your manager.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nAs a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:\nHigh school diploma. Hands-on, production or mechanical work experience preferred.\n\nListed below are the particular skills preferred for this position:\nAbility to work in a team environment.\n\nAbility to work independently.
