Aloha~\nThe major functions of this position are:\nProvide outstanding customer service and brand awareness to Maui Jim customers and clients. Ensure that Maui Jim Events maintains a strong reputation and exceeds sales forecasts through the growth of present and potential customers. Extensive travel to dispense, sell, repair, and market Maui Jim sunglasses at corporate events, incentive meetings, golf tournaments, music festivals, and boat shows.\nThis internship will run January-June 2027\nMonthly Salary: $2,500 - $3,300\nThe essential responsibilities and duties of this position are:\nTravel worldwide 80-100% of the time to host sunglass gifting experiences and activate large scale consumer-facing events.\nWork with clients on-site to review logistics and event procedures.\nSet-up, tear-down, conduct inventory counts, and account for all promotional items at events.\nProject a professional image to all customers while presenting company services and policies.\nConvey the superiority of Maui Jim Polarized Plus 2 lens technology and industry leading customer service.\nAdhere to daily allowance (per diem) and submit monthly expense reports.\nOversee the distribution of Rx Conversion Cards and warranty policy at events.\nWork with Events Manager and Marketing Coordinator on miscellaneous projects as needed when in the office.\nPerform other work-related tasks as requested or required\nDesired Qualifications\nAs a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:\nCollege Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.\n\nMust be at least 21 years old.\n\nActive passport required.\n\nSkills preferred for this position:\nCustomer service experience.\n\nAloha spirit and enthusiasm.\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\n\nCommitment to travel.\n\nAbility to multitask and work under pressure.\n\nEvent planning and execution skills.\n\nAbility to work within a team as well as independently.\n\nMicrosoft Word, Graphic Design, and Excel skills.\n\nSpecial Physical Requirements:\nAbility to stand throughout the day.\n\nAbility to lift up to 45 pounds.\n\nExtensive travel including on weekends and holidays.\n\nWork Shift:\nSpecial Language Requirement (If Applicable):\nSalary is only one component of total compensation at Maui Jim!
