The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any or all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list:\nResponsible for the safe operation, housekeeping, and bar code labeling of manual and semi-automated metal stamping equipment. \nAdditional Responsibilities:\nPerform other related duties as assigned \nJob Scope:\nAcquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks. \nWorks on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. \nHas little or no role in decision-making. \nEducation and Experience Requirements:\nHigh school and little to no (minimal) previous training \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust be able to read, write and speak fluent English. \nExposure/experience to manufacturing. \nUnderstands quality, PPE requirements and safety and the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures. \nWear all required PPE at all times. \nAbility to read and understand production schedules, production orders and instructions. \nAbility to operate production machinery in a safe manner. \nAbility to perform required Quality Checks and record results as appropriate. \nAbility to achieve or exceed demonstrated production rates while maintaining safety and quality. \nAbility to work in teams. \nAbility to maintain flexibility and be willing and able to work on multiple machines during the shift. \nMust comply with quality, PPE requirements and safety and understand the importance of complying with safety policies and procedures. \nPhysical/Visual Demands/Work Environment:\n(Physical and visual activities that are commonly associated * with the performance of the functions of this job)\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand. \nPosition is associated with pushing, pulling, climbing, handling, reaching, stretching, and working in tight and high places. \nEnvironmental/Atmospheric Conditions:\n(Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated * with the performance of the functions of this job).\nInside conditions, extremes of heat (100+ seasonal), exposure to humidity, working in tight areas, high noise levels from production environment, including some exposure to outside weather elements, oil and dirt. \n“Commonly associated” is not intended to mean always or only.
