This position involves physical labor, operating industrial equipment, hand tools, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSafety\nFollow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations\nUtilize proper PPE at all times\nQuality\nResponsible to produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed\nCompliance to ISO 9001\nComplete Manufacturing/Quality documents\nCommunicate with internally concerning deviations or general request\nAssist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices\nEnvironmental\nVerify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations\nComplete reports as necessary internally\nPrimary Production Responsibilities\nIndependently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances\nRead and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed\nInstallation of:Plugs\nCapseals\nRings\nOther parts or materials as specified\n\nUtilize various hand tools, including but not limited to air guns, plug wrenches, and capseal tools in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate speed with production flow\nDemonstrate acceptable level of capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation\nReport any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager\nUtilize the company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.\nFollow direction and product required quantities\nOTHER DUTIES\nMaintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition\nAttend all required meetings and trainings \nPerform all other duties as required or requested\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPrior experience in industrial manufacturing\nPROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS\nOffer highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc.\nVERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS\nUse verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management\nWRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS\nComplete reports such as production, quality, and inventory, legibly\nMATH SKILLS\nAddition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nInternal manufacturing systems\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\n(Typically required on a regular basis to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.)\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift\nAbility to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift\nRequires good hand/eye/foot coordination\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions\nVision: 20/20 corrected;
