This position will be responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, and products at various stages of production. This position will also communicate / train the quality systems to other employees as needed and records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes Will work a 12 hrs. rotating shift 8p-8a with every other weekend off.\nResponsibilities:\nFollows all Safety and Quality procedures and observes the operations to ensure a safe environment. \nResponsible for ensuring the compliance of “Food Product Safety” & “Product Quality” of the product, to meet the expectation of our customers. \nKnows common practices associated with the proper handling of food grade products per GMP requirements. \nPerforms daily quality control inspections, checks, functional tests, documents and disseminates results.\nConduct UN performance testing, completing appropriate documentation and maintain records to satisfy contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.\nReview production schedule and create batch documentation and labels. \nFollows procedure for containments and defective material, placing material on hold and documentation.
