The Quality Engineer will work with the Quality Manager to provide technical process support for production and engineering teams. This role is critical in driving effective quality systems, resolving customer issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport plants with statistical methods (SPC, DOE, capability studies) and execution of improvement projects\nSupport Quality Management System (QMS) activities, such as performing process audits, updating SOPs, revising FMEAs and Control Plans\nAssist plant with yield improvement projects and various training requirements\nFacilitate or participate in improvement teams directed at resolving repetitive or complex problems.\nSupport plant improvement efforts, as needed (improve QMS, documentation, problem-solving capabilities)\nUtilizing a process approach, evaluate existing practices and conduct gap analyses against international quality system standards and existing procedures; develop and propose modifications to close the gaps\nFacilitate statistical process method training for plant personnel; become an SME of the plant SPC system\nValidate process and product changes to ensure desired results are achieved and sustainable\nAssess measurement systems to ensure process robustness and develop improvement plans where needed\nDisposition non-conforming product and achieve plant PPM targets\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree required, preferably in a science or engineering discipline;
