Including trailer repairs and equipment inspections.\nElectrical diagnostics, repair, and replacement.\nUtilize the company’s maintenance system to create/maintain/complete work orders and vehicle maintenance records.\nLead and/or assist with the physical parts purchasing, inventory, receiving, and proper charge out of parts to work orders\nPerforms general cleaning and repair duties\nRequirements:\n4 years of experience in fleet trailer maintenance and repair (up to 2 years can be credited for technical training/schooling)\nKnowledge and understanding of FMCSRs and DOT Compliance\nAir brake certification \nWorking knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM's and component manufacturers\nTechnician must provide all hand tools (1/2” drive or under) necessary to perform maintenance.
