We’re growing an ambitious team of people who think in systems, move quickly, and are builders at heart.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on High-Speed Hardware Design at Maven Robotics, you will design, develop, and validate high-performance electronic systems that enable reliable, high-speed communication and data processing across our robotic platforms. You will own the development of complex digital circuits and PCBAs, from initial architecture through detailed design, signal integrity analysis, board bring-up, and system integration. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you will help deliver robust, high-speed hardware built for demanding real-world environments.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and develop high-speed digital circuits and complex multilayer PCBAs for advanced robotic systems.\nDefine hardware architectures, select components, and evaluate design trade-offs to meet performance, power, and reliability requirements.\nDesign and integrate high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, and MIPI.\nPerform signal integrity, power integrity, and timing analyses to optimize PCB layout and ensure reliable system performance.\nCollaborate with mechanical, software, systems, and integration teams to define electrical interfaces, packaging constraints, and system requirements.\nLead PCB design reviews, hardware bring-up, debugging, design verification, and validation testing.\nPartner with vendors and manufacturers to support PCB fabrication, assembly, component sourcing, and design for manufacturability (DFM).\nDrive hardware development from concept through prototyping, testing, and production release.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of electrical engineering experience designing high-speed digital circuits, complex PCBAs, or embedded electronic systems.\nStrong experience with high-speed PCB design, multilayer board stack-ups, impedance control, and differential pair routing.\nHands-on experience designing high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, USB, Ethernet, or MIPI.\nProficiency with eCAD tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation.\nStrong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, timing analysis, and electromagnetic interference (EMI/EMC).\nExperience with board bring-up, debugging, and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently drive hardware designs while collaborating across teams.\nNice to Have\nMaster’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.\nExpert proficiency with Altium Designer.\nExperience with signal and power integrity simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, HyperLynx, or similar.\nExperience designing hardware for robotics, autonomous systems, industrial automation, or other complex electromechanical platforms.\nFamiliarity with high-speed connectors, cables, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management.\nEqual Opportunity\nMaven Robotics is an equal opportunity employer.
