We’re growing an ambitious team of people who think in systems, move quickly, and are builders at heart.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Robot Field Engineer at Maven Robotics, you will play a key role in supporting pilot deployments at customer sites, collaborating closely with the Controls, Autonomy, and Integration teams to ensure reliable robot performance in real-world environments. You’ll also partner with the Customer team to ensure deployments meet customer requirements and expectations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOversee and operate robotic systems within pilot environments to meet operational goals\nCoordinate with the customer engineering team and collect their feedback to ensure that our solution is meeting their expectations and goals\nCollaborate with the Maven Autonomy and Controls teams to execute on-site test plans\nConduct first-level software triage, diagnose operational issues, and clearly report findings to the engineering development team for resolution\nIntegrate our robotic solutions with customer systems\nProactively monitor and manage robot task success rate and throughput\nExecute routine and preventative maintenance on robotic hardware and electromechanical systems to ensure peak performance\nRepair or replace electrical and mechanical components as necessary\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor of Science (B.S.) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field\nDemonstrated hands-on experience working with complex robotic or electromechanical systems\nProficiency with C++/Python programming languages and familiarity with ROS2 and Linux-based development and debugging environments\nWorking knowledge of common robotics networking and communication protocols (e.g., CANOpen, EtherCAT, UART)\nAbility to work independently, troubleshoot issues effectively, and ensure the successful completion of robotic tasks\nComfortable working with standard mechanical and electrical tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, multi-meter)\nAbility to travel 40-50% of the time to customer facilities\nNice to Have\nMasters of Science (M.S.) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field\nPrevious experience deploying and supporting robotic systems in field or production environments\nFamiliarity with safety-critical or real-time software systems\nEqual Opportunity\nMaven Robotics is an equal opportunity employer.
