We’re growing an ambitious team of people who think in systems, move quickly, and are builders at heart.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Robot Systems Test Engineer at Maven Robotics, you will lead the testing and validation of our robotic systems, working closely with the Controls, Autonomy, and Integration teams to ensure reliable performance and seamless operation in real-world environments.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine test strategy including what needs to be tested at the full system vs unit level\nExecute tests in simulation and on robot, and report results back to the design teams\nDistribute test cases between simulation and real robot environments \nWork with the Simulation team to standup requiring capabilities in sim\nDevelop testing and reporting utilities\nDefine and manage the SW version approval pipeline for our field deployment\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelors of Science (B.S.) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.\nFamiliarity with operating robotic systems in safety critical environments.\nDeep experience defining system level validation plans.\nProficiency with C++/Python programming languages and familiarity with ROS2 and Linux-based development and debugging environments.\nWorking knowledge of common robotics networking and communication protocols (e.g., CANOpen, EtherCAT, UART).\nFamiliarity with robotics simulation tools like Gazebo and IsaacSim\nNice to Have\nMasters of Science (B.S.) in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field\nExperience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) simulators and simulation environments\nExperience defining and executing test plans for general purpose robotics solutions in a production context\nEqual Opportunity\nMaven Robotics is an equal opportunity employer.
